Integrasi Nilai Moderasi Beragama dalam Kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam

This study aims to analyze the integration of religious moderation values in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum as an effort to shape students with tolerant, inclusive, and moderate characters in a pluralistic society. Religious moderation is an important concept in contemporary Islamic education because it is able to bridge a balanced understanding of religion between text and context and prevent the emergence of extremist attitudes. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a library research type, through analysis of curriculum documents, academic literature, and educational policies related to religious moderation. The results of the study indicate that the integration of religious moderation values in the PAI curriculum can be done through strengthening core competencies and basic competencies, developing teaching materials based on the values of tolerance, justice, balance (tawazun), and an attitude of respect for diversity, and the application of contextual learning strategies that emphasize dialogue, reflection, and role models. In addition, the role of teachers as agents of moderation is crucial for the successful implementation of these values in learning practices. This study concludes that the integration of religious moderation in the Islamic Religious Education curriculum not only contributes to strengthening the religious character of students, but also becomes a strategic solution in building a harmonious, peaceful, and tolerant national life
