Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning plays a crucial role in shaping students' character amidst social challenges and technological developments. This study aims to analyze the implementation of PAI learning in character formation for students in secondary schools. The research method used was qualitative, with a field study approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that PAI learning that integrates the values ​​of the Qur'an and Hadith contextually is able to shape students' religious character, discipline, and responsibility. PAI learning is effective when it emphasizes not only cognitive aspects but also internalization of values ​​and role models
