Integrasi Kecerdasan Emosional Berbasis Dzikir Dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Pada Era Digital Di SD IT Tiara Islamic School Pekanbaru

This study aims to analyze the implementation of dhikr-based emotional intelligence integration in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SD IT Tiara Islamic School Pekanbaru in the digital era. The increasing exposure to technology among elementary school students has posed new challenges to their spiritual and emotional development, particularly in the aspects of self-control, empathy, and religious awareness. Therefore, PAI learning strategies are required not only to deliver cognitive material but also to develop students’ emotional intelligence. Dhikr, as an Islamic spiritual practice, is believed to foster tranquility, focus, discipline, and emotional regulation. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving PAI teachers as well as learning activities that integrate dhikr into the teaching process. The findings show that the habituation of dhikr before and after lessons, the use of digital media to reinforce dhikr practices, and spiritual reflection during learning activities can significantly enhance students’ self-awareness, emotional management skills, and empathetic attitudes. Moreover, the integration of dhikr in PAI learning also strengthens students’ religious motivation and emotional stability in facing digital distractions. Thus, dhikr-based emotional intelligence integration can serve as an innovative learning model that is relevant to be implemented in technology-based and spiritually oriented elementary education
